About

A small independent journal

Neon Notes collects observations about light and colour. The project began as a personal notebook: a place for things that might otherwise be forgotten, and for questions that deserve another look.

Articles are written as working notes. They describe an approach and leave room for the reader to make their own observations. The journal does not sell products, accept orders or collect visitor accounts.

How to read it

Start with any entry in the journal. If something catches your attention, try looking at a familiar object or place through the same question. Return to the notebook later and compare what you noticed. The useful part is the observation, not finishing everything in one sitting.

New notes appear when there is something concrete to share. This website uses a small collection of static pages so the writing and illustrations stay easy to read.
